How you can help
There are several ways to support the work of Project PAUL. First is to shop at the thrift shop for impressive bargains in clothing, furniture, and household goods. Also, spread the word about the thrift store to friends and family who also might like the chance to take advantage of the great buying opportunities while helping out the needy.
Regular volunteers are also needed any day during the week.
Of course, another way you can support Project PAUL is through a tax-deductible donation of food, clothing, furniture, and even operational cars or boats. Monetary donations are always welcome.
Project PAUL is a recognized charity for www.goodsearch.com. By specifying "Project Paul" as your charity of choice, and using that "Good Search" page to seach the internet, you can help Project PAUL every time you use the internet! Every little bit helps, and it all adds up.
The IRA Charitable Rollover permits taxpayers, 70 1/2 years old or older, to make donations directly to Project PAUL from their IRA without counting it as part of their AGI (adjusted gross income). Therefore no state or federal incomes taxes need to be paid. For more information please contact your financial advisor or go to www.irs.gov for further information. We will be pleased to send you a written receipt.
